ANTONY "ANT" A late 20’s bearded Williamsburg hipster, Ant works as an assistant to a rising artist. While he is trying to make it as a painter, Ant also works as a low level helper on all kinds of projects to make ends meet. Eli gets him gigs on film sets. Ant is a stoner who perpetually is experimenting with the newest drug but he is good meshing music and visuals. He is room mates with Brew and Eli in a rundown Greenpoint loft. His artistic style more Keith Haring than Basquiat.

BREWSTER "BREW" Late 20’s, stoner comic, UCB student, Brew works as a caterer and low level film crew member to make money. He's always auditioning and looking for the big break, though he is more optimistic than his talent level merits. He is a charter member of Bathwater though he plays no instrument. Brew is a clown with dark social observations.

ELI Late 20’s Eli is an aspiring filmmaker. Friends with Dylan since college, he works on lots of film sets and TV shows as a non-descript crew member. Eli is a cinephile who stays at home writing unpublished screenplays. Has made several web series with his buddies Ant, Brew, and Luke, who call themselves ABLE MINDED Productions. They are starting up the band Bathwater to help make them rich and successful with the ladies.

LANCE A gifted musician & songwriter of Nordic descent. Plays keyboards and composes all the songs for Soundgasm. Considers himself the “Pale Artist Formerly Known as Prince” since they are both from Minneapolis. Is a restaurant manager and provides meals to his starving artist friends.

LOLA Mid 20’s Latina. Born on the Lower East Side, she has family and connections in the neighborhood. Lola has a powerhouse voice but is a lapsed singer since the birth of her child. Sassy, confident, street wise, sarcastic yet with Earth mother sensibilities. Calls herself the Mocha Mamba. Lola used to sing in jazz and cabaret clubs. Once had ambition to be a Broadway musical theater actress but the opportunity never materialized. Met Q during an audition and never left. Lola is he power behind the throne.

QUINCY "Q" Late 20’s pale punk rocker, sort of a sexy Joey Ramone, Q is the manager of the live music venue Bukowski’s Baggage. Known for his sarcastic, biting social commentaries, he is a rough and tumble businessman. Q has a soft spot for Lola, his baby mama. A good father to his infant son, he is relatively happy in life but lives to insult and belittle people. A gifted guitarist with a good eye for talent, Q never liked touring or the drama of being in a band. . Prefers being a solo musician working in the studio. He is the yin to Dylan’s yang. A truth teller with all the musical connections everyone wants to tap into.

SALTY SARA Drummer for Pelvic Heresy, Sara is the quirky backbone of the group. An legendary tattoo artist, Sara is a fixture in the East Village goth underground. She shares custody of her 5 year old son with her ex-wife. With her varied interests, she tries to avoid the simmering group drama.

ARADIA Up and coming solo singer concentrating in ballads and female empowerment. Being produced by Dylan which creates some unintended friction with Braga

CORIANDER Late 20’s beautiful African American Dancer with a huge retro Afro, Core works as a cage dancer and anonymous skank in rap videos. She is frustrated by her options in life as her dance career is nearing an end and acting career limited. Core is Jesse’s girlfriend and background dancer in the band. She desperately is searching for an outlet for her pent up creativity and unrequited dreams. Braga relentless recruits her to join her new band. Core has explosive talent with an equally explosive temperament.

JESSE Late 20s brunette, pure rocker chick. Aspiring stand up comedienne, actress, musician, and writer. Looking to find an outlet for her bottled up creativity. Recovering addict who fought dependence on painkillers after death of her parents in a car accident 5 years earlier. Jesse is willing to try anything which is a strength and a fault. Ferocious on stage presence, she lives with Dylan who she treats like the brother she never had. Dated Quincy in college and they remain close. Currently dating Coriander. A lost soul looking for solace.

LIPSTICK the Lead guitarist for Pelvic Heresy. Works as a paralegal by day at her father’s law firm. Has been in other bands with Jesse since they met in a high school detention class. A gifted songwriter, Lipstick has been angling for more lead singing opportunities in the band at the expense of Jesse.

YONI A music manager of questionable pedigree who wants to sign Soundgasm. He books a lot of high end bar mitzvahs and weddings. His biggest client is the DJ Hebrew Hammer.

TERRI Terrible Terri is a native of Philadelphia. She is very liberal and works as a substitute high school social studies teacher and piano tutor. Soulful voice who idolizes Patti Lupone, her dreams for Broadway musicals still simmer. Wants more socially progressive lyrics for Soundgasm.

TAYBO The flamboyant mixed-race Bronx born, lead singer of Soundgasm, Taybo is an aspiring designer who works for a top Fashionista. A tireless self promoter., he handles the business as well as designing the outfits. A cross between Ricky Martin and Will I Am.

BRAGA Late 20’s striking Brazilian with dark hair and athletic, sexy figure. Works in liquor sales. Has been in the USA for 5 years. Been dating Dylan for 9 months, living together for 3 months. Strong business mind with endless plans and schemes to make money. Was a dancer and background singer in Brazil. The Gatinha band concept has been a dream since she was a teenager. Met Dylan at a party she hosted where he was a DJ. A relentless marketer with enough ambition for 2 people.

DYLAN Late 20’s Athletic Likeable, low key, loyal. Runs a small recording studio where he produces songs. College buddies with Quincy and briefly in a rock band together. Still searching for his ultimate goal in life. Is he a producer? Performer? Businessman? Family man? Extremely likeable but lacking the edge to achieve his goals. Braga is his drive, the Hilary to his Bill Clinton. The glue of the group and key to everyone’s music ambitions.

KAI Early 30’s, shapely, classic bohemian with curly hair and flowing clothes, Kai is a yoga teacher and spiritualist who does outreach work with women’s groups. She also is a folk guitarist who idolizes Sarah Osbourne and Joan Baez. Kai Is Jesse’s confidant and sponsor. Calls herself a sensual shaman who teaches people to get in touch with their energies and feelings. Has a surprising angry and aggressive side.

LIZZARD Bass player for Pelvis Heresy. Works as a massage therapist who reluctantly gives the occasional “happy ending”. Volunteers as a counselor for troubled youth at a LBGTQ+ community center. Preferring to please their core lesbian, she clashes with Jesse for control of the group’s control.

NICOLE Mid 20’s, attractive Eastern European blonde, Nicole is a perpetual party girl known for being both flirty and foul mouthed. Seemingly always out of money and one step from eviction, she has a Pat Benatar like voice with the Amy Winehouse lifestyle. Her family is still in Europe and needs a dependable support group. Nicole works as a waitress at Quincy’s club. The wild child who brings creative unpredictability to any song or situation.

VICIOUS V Early 20’s Fiery British DJ from Manchester, she’s Q’s half sister. They share the same famous punk rock father. V is in NY to work on a live music web site while trying to score some DJ gigs to up her street cred back home. She’s a neo punk rocker with anti-social tendencies, a British Amy Shumer. Has a complicated relationship with Q and a combative distrust with Lola. V is the outsider, the provaceteur, who offers unsolicited and unvarnished opinions on the “pathetic wannabees” and their musical abilities.

WOOSTER "WOO" The Brooklyn born Woo is gorgeous, and he knows it. He refers to himself as high class “street meat”. Woo is the lead choreographer and background singer in Soundgasm. A personal trainer, he also works as a nude model in art classes and as an “escort” for the Ladies who Lunch crowd.
